A devastating tornado transports Dorothy to a magical land. While anxiously looking for the way back home, she encounters a scarecrow without a brain, a tin man with no heart and a cowardly lion. They enlist the help of the greatest witch in Oz but another wicked witch will not easily let them off. Kids - can you help these four ingenuous characters overcome the challenges ahead?

‘The Wizard of Oz’ brims with originality and is captivating from the very beginning: as soon as you step into the scene, you can't help but get caught up in Dorothy's adventures! Experience the surprises and help resolve the problems strewn on the path home – for here the audience will play an indispensable role in helping Dorothy and her friends escape. ‘The Wizard of Oz’ is a play designed for kids full of curiosity and inquisitiveness, and explores the fun of imagination and adventure with the Jumbo Kids Theatre of Hong Kong.

A workshop of ‘Jumbo Ideas in Theatre for Kids’ held over four consecutive days will reveal the entire process of how a kid’s drama is conceptualized and launched. Teachers, social workers and entities developing kids drama are welcome to join.
