Government Headquarters Open Day

The Protocol Palace and the grounds and gardens of the Government Headquarters will be opened to the public on 18 and 19 October from 09:00-18:00.

 

During the Government Headquarters Open Day, visitors will be arranged to enter the premises from the right side of the Protocol Palace on Travessa do Paiva. After completing the security check, visitors may proceed to the Multi-function Room and the Lotus Room on the ground floor along the designated route, and then ascend the marble staircase to the upper floor to tour the hall and the colour-themed rooms, namely the Green Room, the Yellow Room and the Blue Room. Before leaving the Protocol Palace through the main entrance, visitors may explore the beautifully-landscaped gardens. During the visit, please go along the designated route and follow the signage and the instructions of on-site staff.

 

For the convenience of visitors, special traffic arrangements will be implemented on certain sections of Travessa do Paiva during the Open Day. Drivers’ cooperation with on-site traffic police will be highly appreciated. The Health Bureau will also deploy on-site medical service staff.

 

Reminder: Please mind the step. No selfie sticks, pets, umbrellas, food, beverages or smoking allowed in this area.
