How to Apply
Time Limit for Application
Applications should be made at least 2 working days prior to the intended date of visit.
Formalities and Required Documents
Application can be made in person, by fax or email to the Marine and Water Bureau, with the submission of the following:
- “Application for Free Visit to the Maritime Museum” (the form can be obtained from the location for application or downloaded from the website of Marine and Water Bureau) or a written request (self-written) (please stamp the application form or the written request);
- Non-profit organisations applying for the first time shall submit a photocopy of government registration document which proves their non-profit status.
Notes:
- The written request should be addressed to the Curator of Maritime Museum.
- Application for guided tours should be indicated in the application form or the written request.
- If the applicant is a school, please specify the number of students and teachers in the column “number of visitors” in the application form or in the written request. Parents who accompany their children have to pay admission fee.

Processing Time
Upon submission of all necessary documents, the processing time is 2 working days, excluding the day of application submission. (Performance Pledge)
Notes for Application
- If the approved schools or organisations fail to visit the Maritime Museum on the intended date, the visit concerned will be considered cancelled automatically.
- Under special circumstances, the Maritime Museum reserves the right to cancel the visit, and will notify the school or organisation of the cancellation as soon as possible.
- Holders of valid Macao identity cards, membership cards of International Council of Museums, local or International Teacher Identity Cards as well as press cards are entitled to free admission, upon presentation of the cards at the entrance.
- Holders of local full-time valid student cards or international student cards are entitled to 30% off the standard tickets (full fare MOP 10) at the Maritime Museum, which is MOP 7, upon presentation of the cards at the ticket office.
