Unless you proactively enable the services within the Application and grant the corresponding permissions, the services within the Application will not read your step count data through the data interface provided on your device. Not enabling the services within the Application or refusing to grant permissions will not affect your use of other basic functions of the Application that are unrelated to step count data.
