The Correctional Services Bureau holds the Inmates and Juvenile Delinquents’ Handicraft Exhibition in order to showcase inmates and juvenile delinquents’ learning achievements, raising attention, support and acceptance from the society toward their rehabilitation. The exhibition displays and sells a large variety of handicrafts – over 6000 pieces, each uniquely handmade by inmates or juvenile delinquents. The types of handicrafts include hand-knitted sweaters, fabric products, crochet flowers and festive ornaments, festive paper cutting art, oil paintings, wood and shell carving art, sawdust sculptures, and walnut and chocolate cookies.

Booth Games

During the exhibition, the Correctional Services Bureau, co-organizers and non-governmental organizations will set up booth games at the Heart-shaped Tree Square for members of the public to have fun and for the message of care and inclusiveness to spread. Shiny, our care buddy, will also show up at the venue to interact with the public and call on different sectors of society to uphold the spirit of love and care and to show support and acceptance to inmates and juvenile delinquents on their social reintegration journey.
