The documents are the same for both applications, however for the application to hire a domestic helper from Mainland China, the “Supplementary document for hiring a domestic helper from Mainland China” is also required, and the employer must provide accommodation for these domestic helpers.

The Macao SAR is the first place to import, on a trial basis, domestic helpers from Mainland China.
