Methods of requesting for assistance

Requests for assistance can be made to the Macao Vessel Traffic Control Centre via the following means:

1. VHF marine radio channel 16 (156.800MHz), channel 10 (156.500MHz)
2. VHF digital selective calling (DSC) MMSI：004530101
3. Telephone: (853) 2872 6766
4. Fax: (853) 2872 6769

Information to be provided when requesting for assistance:

1. Nature of incident;
2. Location of incident;
3. Persons affected;
4. Information which facilitates rescue (such as description of situation, phone number etc.)

Approval time required

Call will be initiated within 5 minutes upon receipt of a verified notification. (Performance Pledge)
