How to Apply

Time of Application

In possession of the following documents:

1. A certificate issued by the cooperative public entity;
2. A certificate issued by the delegation of an international or interregional organization or the intergovernmental or interregional commission or any other cooperative entity.

Application Procedures and Documents Required

1. Application Approach
   1. Interested person or a legal agent making the application;
   2. The agent should submit the following:
      1. A certified letter of authorization;
      2. A copy of his/her valid identification document.
2. Documents to be Presented
   1. Unless otherwise noted, the original should be exhibited for authentication if a copy is submitted;
   2. The copy should be authenticated if the original cannot be exhibited.
3. Documents to be Submitted
   1. A completed Application Form for Special Authorization to Stay (format 3) and Declaration of Contact Address and Habitual Residence Address (format DARP/DARP M-1);
      [Note: The application form is available at the subdivision concerned and the website of the Public Security Police Force.]
   2. A copy of the interested person’s valid identification document or passport/travel document (bio data page and used pages only, as well as Slip of Authorization to Stay granted in last entry to Macao) used for stay in Macao;
   3. A valid document proving the application reason, such as:
      1. A copy of the certificate issued by the cooperative public entity of the Macao Special Administrative Region (containing full identification information of the interested person and the expected duration of stay for the collaborated activity, as well as the facts that may cause the extinguishment of the authorization);
      2. A copy of the certificate of appointment, including the duration of duty, to perform duties at the Macao Special Administrative Region as a representative of any other country or region in a delegation of an international or interregional organization or in an intergovernmental or interregional commission or any other cooperative entity;
   4. Proof of interested person’s address in Macao (e.g. copy of water, electricity or phone bill of the recent 3 months);
   5. Two 1.5-inch recent colour or black-and-white photos showing full frontal face without head coverings taken against plain white background;
   6. Other documents as required.

Remark/Points to Note

According to Term 1, Article 66 of Law No. 16/2021, to apply for a visa, Authorization to Enter and Stay, Macao SAR Residence Authorization, Renewal or Extension of Residence Authorization means the interested person consents to have his or her personal information, which includes his or her biodata, treated by the Public Security Police Force.
