Jeff Khan

Creative Director of Asia TOPA at Arts Centre Melbourne, Khan led the festival’s 2025 return after a five-year hiatus, presenting over 400 artists from the Asia-Pacific region to an audience of over 730,000. Known for his work across performance, dance, visual art and sound, Khan focuses on experimental and cross-disciplinary practices. Previously Artistic Director and CEO of Performance Space in Sydney, he curated the Liveworks Festival and numerous artist development programmes. His curatorial interests span environmental and political issues, cross-cultural collaboration, etc. He has held guest roles with Fusebox Festival, Next Wave, and Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, among others.
Jack Wong

Festival Director of George Town Festival (GTF), Jack Wong leads Penang’s flagship arts and culture event celebrating its UNESCO World Heritage status. Under his direction, GTF showcases a wide range of disciplines – from dance and music to film and photography – creating inclusive experiences for diverse audiences. Originally from Penang, Wong is dedicated to accessibility and community engagement, ensuring high-quality art reaches all groups regardless of background. His leadership continues to position GTF as a vital platform for both local and international creativity.
Fan Xing

Founder and Artistic Director of Star Theatres, Fan graduated from the Department of Directing at The Central Academy of Drama. He has produced and staged over 60 theatrical IPs, with extensive experience in both directing and theatre management. Blending traditional theatre with modern cultural industry strategies, he pioneered a theatre cluster operation model for small and mid-sized theatres – developing industrial ecosystems while popularising theatrical arts and exploring their commercial potential. Recognised as a trailblazer in China’s small and medium theatre sector, he actively mentors emerging creators and champions original play development.
