Prof Chan, director of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, has over 35 years of experience in advancing the performing arts and arts education. Her career spans academia, arts administration, performance, production, and international collaboration. She is a recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award at the Hong Kong Dance Awards 2018, and the City Contemporary Dance Laureate, and is recognised internationally as a visionary arts leader.
