Hung is a music critic, distinguished as Young Artist (Arts Criticism) by the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards in 2017, examiner (music) for the HK Arts Development Council, full member of the International Association of Theatre Critics (HK), and singer of the Zense A Cappella. He was an editor at the HK Classical Music Yearbook (2014 & 2015), and has published at the Sing Tao Daily, Ming Pao and South China Morning Post.
