Brazilian composer and singer Vanessa da Mata is known for her artistic versatility and engaging songs. She captivates audiences with her soulful voice, and original compositions. Nowadays, she is considered one of the country's greatest musical phenomena as well as a globally recognized artist. Her songs are a blend of diverse musical styles, including MPB (Brazilian popular music), R&B, pop, Brazilian frevo, samba, and reggae.
Zhang Lie, Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Macau Chinese Orchestra, will conduct this concert, where Vanessa da Mata will perform her songs rearranged for Chinese musical instruments, unveiling the harmonious fusion and unique allure of Chinese and Brazilian sounds.
