Registration Details
1. Activity Introduction:
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the “Lang Lang – Beyond Boundaries Series: Piano Camp” will be held from 10 to 25 October. The camp features masterclasses, Lang Lang × Richard Taylor: In Conversation, and the concert “Lang Lang in Recital: Iberian Rhapsody”. During the camp, veteran professors will teach performance techniques and guide young pianists as they practice. Using the piano to connect the arts, technology and Macao’s cultural heritage, the camp offers participants hands-on stage experience under expert guidance and a platform for cross-disciplinary artistic exchange.
2. Piano Camp Date and Location:
Date: 10-25 October 2026 (Saturdays and Sundays)

3. Piano Camp Details:
(1) Piano classes
Experienced professors engaged by Lang Lang’s team will serve as instructors and provide guidance in performance techniques.
(2) Lang Lang × Richard Taylor: In Conversation
Participants will attend Lang Lang × Richard Taylor: In Conversation as audience members. Outstanding participants selected by the instructors will have the opportunity to perform at the event and receive feedback directly from Lang Lang.
(3) Lang Lang in Recital: Iberian Rhapsody
Participants with 80% attendance, able to attend the dress rehearsal, and being assessed by the instructor as meeting the required standard may have the opportunity to perform on stage with Lang Lang.
(4) Presentation of certificates
Participants with 80% attendance will receive a certificate of practical training.

* A detailed camp schedule will be provided to successful applicants.
* Participants with 80% attendance, able to attend the dress rehearsal, and being assessed by the instructor as meeting the required standard may have the opportunity to perform on stage with Lang Lang.
* Participants must arrange their own transport to and from the designated venue and their own meals during the camp.
6. Recruitment of Participants:
(1) Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. Hold a Macao Resident Identity Card (permanent or non-permanent).
2. Have been born between 2008 and 2018.
3. Have a passion for music and stage performance, and be able to devote sufficient time to practising Johann Strauss I’s “Radetzky March”, the piece to be performed on stage with Lang Lang.
4. Places available: 30.
5. 10 participants will be selected for each of the following 3 age groups*:

* Note: The organiser reserves the right to make final adjustments to the number of places based on the actual number of applications and the results of the selection process.
(2) Application and selection procedure
1. Registration Period: From now until 5:00 pm, 30September 2026 (Macao time), and submission is based on the time when the organiser receives the email.
2. Email the materials specified in clause 7 to pianocamp@decade-macau.com before the application deadline.
3. Applicants should receive a confirmation email notifying the reception of their application on or before 12:00 pm, 1October 2026. Applicants shall contact +853 6887 9242 in case such confirmation is not received, or else the submission will be considered void.
4. A panel of music experts will assess applicants on three criteria: technical proficiency, musical expression and development potential.
5. Admitted participants will be notified by email on or before 5 October 2026, and payment instructions will be provided separately. They must pay the fees in full by the payment deadline; otherwise they will be deemed to have forfeited their place.
(3) Audition video requirements
1.Each applicant may submit two videos only, featuring the complete performance of Johann Strauss I’s “Radetzky March” for piano four hands. In the first video, the applicant must play the entire treble part; in the second video, the entire bass part. Repetition marks need not be played. (Download the score)
2. The applicant’s face and hands, as well as the instrument, must be clearly visible. The performance must be unaccompanied, and the videos must not be edited, processed or altered in any way.
3. The videos must begin with the following self-introduction, spoken in Mandarin:
● Hello, teachers. My name is ______, and I am ______ years old.
● I look forward to joining the Piano Camp and discovering the beauty of sharing music with others.
4. Upload the two videos to Bilibili and submit the two valid links.
7. Required Application Materials:
1. Completed application form;
2. Two valid links to the applicant’s audition video (only Bilibili links are accepted).

Admitted participants must pay MOP 600.00.*
* All fees are non-refundable once paid.
