Goal The workshop focuses on how to develop written skills of the participants’ students using online learning and social media so as to encourage students to engage in self-study online. A variety of learning resources and social media platforms will be introduced. The trainer will also help participants to create their profile for your language lessons.
Message The workshop will showcase useful ideas and online teaching and learning strategies that can be adopted or adapted by teachers to make learning more fun and engaging in the classroom. A variety of online learning activities and social media will be introduced to help teachers achieve learning objectives and to accommodate students’ individual language needs. Participants will engage in activities that are designed to keep learners active while involved in meaning language learning activities. At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to: - Create a variety of online learning activities to achieve intended learning outcomes and to accommodate learners’ individual needs. - Design and utilise activities that are appropriate for the various engagement of specific learners that can promote confidence and success in English language learning. - Recognize the importance of engaging students in a diversified set of online educational activities and social media. - Understand online learning and be able to integrate technology into their classroom.
