Deadline for Formalities

Companies intending to carry out transshipment activity must apply for a transshipment activity license to the DSE

Formalities and Documents Required for Application

An applicant is not required to apply in person, but has to submit the following documents:

  1. Application letter ;
  2. Criminal record certificate (original copy) of the board members, directors or managers as stated in the respective commercial registration (Can be applied through the DSE simply by submitting an authorization form, a copy of identification card and an application fee of MOP50 to the DSE);
  3. Certificate of deposit issued by a bank ;
  4. Copy of identification document of the company’s responsible persons.
    P.S.: According to Decree-Law no. 7/96/M of 29 January, and Administrative Regulation no. 8/2005 of 17 June, applicant companies must possess capital of not less than MOP1,000,000, of which at least half must be immediately available and the remaining amount must be paid up within a maximum of three years.

P.S: Citizens may also submit application documents for the service at the collection points for documents related to the scope of the Secretariat for Economic and Finance Affairs.

For first registration, 15 working days from submission of full documents (Performance Pledge).
