Types of financial institutions:
1. Credit Institutions (including Banks and Restricted Licence Banks)
2. Finance Companies
3. Investment Fund Management Companies
4. Wealth Management Companies
5. Financial Leasing Companies
6. Money Changers
7. Cash Remittance Companies
8. Other Financial Institutions (excluding financial institutions that carry out insurance activities and/or private pension fund management)
Upon receiving an application for establishment of a financial institution, a confirmation acknowledging receipt will be issued to the applicant by the Banking Supervision Department.
