How to Apply

Time of application

Persons who are granted ‘Special Authorization to Stay for Traditional Traders’, who need to change the personal information (e.g. their name, parent’s name, date of birth, marital status, etc.) registered at the Residence and Stay Affairs Department may make an application for change to the Subdivision which processes their residence or stay authorization.

Application procedures and documents required

1. Application Approach
   1. To apply in person or by a legal agent
   2. The legal agent is required to submit:
      1. A certified letter of authorization;
      2. Copy of his/her valid identification document (the original should be exhibited for authentication.
2. Documents Must be Presented
   1. Unless otherwise noted, the original should be exhibited for authentication if a copy is submitted;
   2. The copy should be authenticated if the original cannot be exhibited.
3. Necessary Documents
   1. Application form with reasonable justification （format DARP/DARP M-2） ;[Note: “application” form is available at the Subdivision concerned and the website of the Public Security Police Force.]
   2. Copy of interested person’s valid identification document;
   3. Proof supporting the application justification.
   4. Other documents as required.

Remark / Requirements

According to Term 1, Article 66 of Law No. 16/2021, to apply for a visa, Authorization to Enter and Stay, Macao SAR Residence Authorization, Renewal or Extension of Residence Authorization means the interested person consents to have his or her personal information, which includes his or her biodata, treated by the Public Security Police Force.
