Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the Composite CPI (103.03) for May 2020 increased by 1.67% year-on-year, a slowdown of 0.38 percentage points from the growth in April (+2.05%). The increment was attributable to dearer prices of fresh pork, rising charges for eating out and higher rentals for dwellings.

In addition, IC will share information about intangible cultural heritage and the concept of healthy lifestyle with the public online, giving the public a deeper understanding of the relationship between intangible cultural heritage and their daily lives and raising the public’s awareness of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage. IC will deploy the appropriate measures according to the anti-epidemic guidelines of the Health Bureau.
