Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre appeals for assistance to senior citizens in performing rapid antigen test; senior citizens who still have difficulties can delay testing

In connection to the requirement that all residents in Macao should undergo one COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) within today (22 June), the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre advises senior citizens who are unable to perform the RAT by themselves to ask for help from their families and friends; those who still have difficulties can delay testing without affecting their mobility.


Important notes for yellow health code holders travelling by taxi

To reduce the transmission risk of COVID-19 within the territory, yellow health code holders should not take public transport for collective use, such as buses and light rail. Should the concerned individuals need to travel by taxi, they must comply with the following guidelines:

The Statistical Data of Operations of Combating Illegal Workers in May 2022

The statistical data of the sole operations of combating illegal workers launched by Public Security Police Force and the Labour Affairs Bureau respectively, and that of all the joint operations launched in May 2022 are as follows:


Citywide NAT programme has been ended, test results of 677,586 people are available, with a total of 34 tubes of 10-in-1 mixed samples preliminarily tested positive, while the rest are negative

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre (hereinafter referred to as “the Centre”) stated that the Citywide NAT programme was ended at 12:00 pm today (21 June). 677,586 people were sampled and the test results are available. A total of 34 tubes of 10-in-1 mixed samples have been preliminarily tested positive, some are still being retested and the rest are negative.

As the Rapid Antigen Test Reporting Platform has experienced a brief hitch, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre indicates that citizens do not need to rush their upload of test results.


All residents in Macao are required to conduct one COVID-19 rapid antigen test within tomorrow (22 June); those who failed to receive rapid antigen test kits may visit a NAT station, health centre or health station for collection

The citywide nucleic acid test programme has been completed at 12:00 noon today (21 June). Having regard to the test results, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre decided to require all residents in Macao to conduct a COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) within tomorrow (22 June). People in key areas must test negative from the RAT before going out to take the nucleic acid test for key areas.


Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces nucleic acid testing arrangements in key areas and for key groups on June 22

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced that in response to the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak that has occurred in Macao from June 18 to the present, on the basis of Citywide NAT Programme, an extra nucleic acid test will be further carried out in key areas and for key groups to identify any potential infected persons who may still be lurking in the local community.


MGTO maintains limited service during work exemption for civil servants
