Service details
If the government of the exporting or transit country requires the submission of an import permit, the applicant needs to apply for a declaration to effect importation before the importation of live animals.
If the government of the importing or transit country requires the submission of an export permit, the applicant needs to apply for a declaration to effect exportation before the exportation of live animals.
Target group of service
Persons who intend to import/export live animals.
Eligibility for application
Declaration to effect importation: Persons who have obtained an import license.
Declaration to effect exportation: Persons who have obtained an animal health certificate.
Result of service
The applicant is issued with Declaration to Effect Importation/Exportation.
