Documents required to be submitted:
The selected candidates are required to perform all the following acts within the period specified by IAM:
1. Choose the stall intended for operation in writing;
2. For those that are originally hawker license holders, apply for cancellation of the original hawker license to IAM in writing;
3. For those that are tenants of market stalls, make a written notification to IAM for agreement to terminate the tenancy contract of the market stalls;
4. Copy of the Macao SAR Resident Identity Card;
5. One 1.5-inch recent colour photo;
6. A clear photocopy of the water, electricity or phone bill (in the past 6 months) stating the residential address of the selected candidate.
Documents required to be produced:
The original valid Macao SAR Resident Identity Card of the selected candidate is required to be produced.

Application fee: Application fee is not required to be paid
Form fee: Form fee is not required to be paid
Stamp Duty: 10% of license fee
Security Deposit: The definitive security deposit is required to be paid. (Equivalent to the amount of the license fee)

Approval time required
5 working days counting from the day when the selected candidate completes the submission of all required documents as well as payment of the security deposit and license fee
Remark/Application Instructions
• The selected candidates must submit all required documents and pay the security deposit and license fee within the period specified by
IAM, otherwise they will be considered abandoning the granted hawker license;
• After deducting the provisional security deposit, the remaining amount of the definitive (stall) security deposit can be paid by cash,
cheque, electronic payment or bank transfer;
• The license fee is calculated from date of issue to 31 December of the following year, and any period of less than one month is calculated
as one month.

Progress query method
For enquiries about the progress, it can be viewed in the public services centres, on the notice board of the Department of Animal Health
and Market Management or the IAM website during the corresponding period
The result of completing the service/Amount
For collection of result of service, the applicants can download the license from the “Business & Associations Platform” and print it by themselves, or it can be printed in the public services centres of IAM.
