Where Jazz takes flight
Marking the 70th anniversary of Charlie Parker’s passing this year, the Casa de Portugal em Macau will present a jazz concert in tribute to the legendary saxophonist.
The concert will be held on the balcony of the Casa de Portugal em Macau headquarter, featuring artistic installation of giant birds by Elisa Vilaça. Musicians Tomás Ramos de Deus, Miguel Andrade, and Paulo Pereira will perform songs such as Bye Bye Blackbird, Moon River and Garota de Ipanema, some of which include original arrangements by the band.
