Over the years, the Music Festival has been committed to providing a platform for emerging musicians, nurturing the development of Macao's music scene. On this edition, young pianist Chan Chon Teng takes centre stage alongside musicians from the Macao Orchestra in a concert dedicated to our city.

The programme brings together a selection of works by local composers, ranging from renowned veterans to emerging contemporary creators. Drawing on the city's landscapes and everyday life, generations of composers have woven their impressions of Macao into their music, telling stories that will strike a familiar chord with our audiences.

Chan Chon Teng is active not only as a performer and educator, but also in arts programming and cultural promotion. He has created projects, including Pause, Follow, Teng, which introduced local culture through music.
