Galloping Horses Deliver CNY Blessings - Spring Calligraphy Creation

- During the event, red papers and ink for calligraphy will be provided to the public for free, with which they can express their creativity by writing down CNY’s blessings.
- Cultural Affairs Bureau’s early publications will be also distributed at the venue for free, while stocks last.
Styling Workshop for CNY Cantonese Opera Stage Performance
Contect:The instructor will introduce the basic knowledge of Cantonese Opera, such as the main performance methods which cover Chang (singing), Zuo (acting), Nian (recitation) and Da (martial art), along with costumes, makeup and stage props. This workshop aims to cultivate the young generation’s interest in and awareness of traditional culture and its transmission.

MuLan Ethnic Dance Costume Dress-Up Experience Workshop
Contect: The story of MuLan will be introduced with its cultural connotations and meanings in terms of filial piety, loyalty, courage and love. During the workshop, participants will learn simple classical Chinese dance steps, as well as understand the balance of strength and grace in MuLan’s ethnic dance following the music’s rhythm.

Supplemental Registration Instructions:
1. Each participant may enroll in only one session per workshop theme.
2. Successful applicants will receive an SMS notification and will be required to present the SMS for admission. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified;
3. If a successful applicant cannot attend an event due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify the organizer at least two days in advance to arrange for a substitute;

5. Personal data provided by registrants will solely be used for the purpose of this activity and will be processed according to Law No. 8/2005 – Personal Data Protection Act.
Notes：
1. The organiser strongly urges audience members to arrive at the performance venues 10 minutes before the performances;
2. All mobile phones, beeping devices should be switched off throughout the performances, and smoking, eating, drinking is prohibited in the performance venues;
3. To avoid undue disturbance to the performers and audience members, cameras and recording devices are strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized by the organiser;
4. Cultural Affairs Bureau may arrange staff to document the activities through photography or videography for archival and evaluation purposes. Some image records may be used for future promotion of similar activities without further notice.
5. Cultural Affairs Bureau reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event due to other unforeseen circumstances.
6. The Cultural Affairs Bureau reserves the right to request participants to present their identity document for verification purposes.
