Pedestrian passage needs to be temporarily closed as construction works of footbridge connecting Tamagnini Barbosa Market and Edifício Toi Fai begins
The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has carried out optimisation works of Tamagnini Barbosa Market in phases from July this year. The phase of the construction works of footbridge connecting Tamagnini Barbosa Market and Edifício Toi Fai will be launched from 23 September. The works aim to further improve the safety of pedestrians crossing the road and optimise the walking system, as well as providing convenience for the public to do their shopping in Tamagnini Barbosa Market via the footbridge after parking their vehicles in the car park in Edifício Toi Fai.
The pedestrian passage between Tamagnini Barbosa Market and Edifício Toi Fai needs to be temporarily closed until mid-December this year to ensure the safety of the public and the construction works during the works period. The public can take the other pedestrian passages nearby. IAM appeals to the public for their understanding for the inconvenience cause. Meanwhile, IAM also reminds the public to pay attention to the on-site notices, refrain from entering the enclosed area and pay attention to safety.
