Shenzhou-9 astronauts to visit Macao

Astronauts, space scientists and engineers of the Shenzhou-9 team are scheduled to visit Macao from 13-15 August, at the invitation of the Macao Government.
The delegation is to be led by the Deputy Commander of China Manned Space Engineering, Mr Niu Hongguang, with the three astronauts -- Mr Jing Haipeng, Mr Liu Wang and Ms Liu Yang, with science technology specialists as members.
During the three-day visit, the delegation will attend a series of activities, including a welcome banquet and an experience-sharing session with local students.
With three astronauts on board, the Shenzhou-9 spacecraft was launched on 16 June 2012 and returned after a 13-day mission, on 29 June, after the crew succeeded in manually docking the spacecraft with the Tingong-1 space laboratory module.
