If we are to paint Macao with smells and flavours, what would it be like?

Teaming with the emerging French-educated mainland Chinese artist Yike, site-specific theatre expert Soda-City Experimental Workshop sets off again to venture into all corners in Macao. With a different perspective, the mission is to follow the leads of smells or tastes along the streets and into the back lanes in three consecutive days, collect and record stories about those flavours, and compose a summary in the form of live art before incorporating everything to construct a portrait of Macao.

This production involves field collections, live art and collage, making use of collected pictures, videos, sounds and items as materials to create an on-site production and exhibition of Portrait of Macao's Flavours at Anim’Arte Nam Van. You are invited to explore the city with this brand new and one-of-a-kind approach!
