Deadline for applications for the “2017 Subsidy Programme for the Production of Original Song Albums” ends next month

The deadline for applications for the “2017 Subsidy Programme for the Production of Original Song Albums”, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), is 11 July (Tuesday), at 5:45pm. All interested parties are welcome to take this chance to apply for the Programme.

The “2017 Subsidy Programme for the Production of Original Song Albums” is part of IC’s “Subsidy Programme Series for Macao’s Cultural and Creative Industries”. It aims to cultivate more talented local music creators and producers, in order to promote the development of Macao’s music industry. By giving support on the production and promotion of the original song albums, IC hopes to encourage musicians to produce and release more outstanding works and lay the groundwork for market development. Selected applicants to the Programme will receive a subsidy of up to MOP 220,000 for the song production, cover design, promotion and marketing of an album, as well as the production of the physical album. The maximum quota is eight beneficiaries.

The Programme’s information, regulations and application forms can be downloaded at the IC’s website (www.icm.gov.mo) or at the Macao Cultural and Creative Industries Website (www.macaucci.gov.mo). Applicants should submit all required documents to the Department for Promoting Cultural and Creative Industries of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, located at the Cultural Affairs Bureau Building, Tap Siac Square, Macao, in the designated period of time. For enquiries, please contact Mr. Ho, staff member of IC, through tel. no. (853) 8399 6282, during office hours.
