The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area consists of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, as well as the municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province. At the invitation of MGTO and with the support of various cities’ tourism entities, Singaporean travel blogger Keith Yuen designed his own itinerary and made it come true, by traveling across eleven cities in the Greater Bay Area in one trip from 1 – 14 June. During his two-week exploration, Yuen shared about 20 posts on the social media Instagram, which won over 30,000 likes and 1,600 comments from his keen followers as travel enthusiasts.

In the “Greater Bay Area – Seamless Travel Experience” Travel Mart held today, Yuen shared his travel experiences and tips with around 80 members of the travel trade from Singapore, Macau and Zhuhai. The video he produced about travel in the Greater Bay Area was also screened for the first time, to bring the trade onto a visual journey of the Greater Bay Area’s kaleidoscope of tourism characteristics. Travel lovers can enjoy the video uploaded on Yuen’s travel website: https://www.travelinspiration360.com.

Keith Yuen expressed that the trip has opened his eyes to the wonderful diversity of travel experiences the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has to offer, with each of the cities radiant with its unique characteristics. Besides, with enhanced connectivity brought by the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the high-speed rail network, it has become a leisurely and seamless experience to travel across the Greater Bay Area. He recommends travelers to enjoy not just a four-day vacation in Macao but also a two-week exploration from Macao to several other cities in the Greater Bay Area. He believes in the vast potential of the Greater Bay Area to grow as a new ideal travel destination for international travelers.
