Domestic work employees and employers work together to prevent epidemics

To prevent the spread of "novel coronavirus pneumonia", the SAR government calls on all sectors of society to avoid or reduce unnecessary crowd gathering and outing activities to reduce the chance of disease transmission.

Domestic work employees who provide household services for employers should maintain personal hygiene at all times. Employers should also maintain sincere communication with employees and arrange work according to the actual situation, so as to protect the safety and health of family members and employees.

During the anti-epidemic period, employers should consider arranging stay-out domestic work employees on-site accommodation based on own condition and when necessary, while employees should try their best to cooperate with the employer's arrangements by reducing outing to minimise the risk of disease transmission and work together to effectively prevent epidemics.

The SAR Government has continuously strengthened the publicity work on epidemic prevention, and released the latest information on epidemic prevention information and epidemic situation to the public through various platforms. The " Special Webpage Against Epidemics " of the Health Bureau has multiple languages for people of different languages to obtain information. For details, please refer to the Special Webpage Against Epidemics(www.ssm.gov.mo/PreventWuhanInfection).
