Draw ceremony of WTT Champions Macao 2026 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group

WTT Champions Macao 2026 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group, organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, World Table Tennis (WTT) and Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), and co-organized by the Macau Table Tennis General Association, will be held at the Macao East Asian Games Dome from 8 to 13 September. The draw ceremony of the tournament took place today (6 September) and was attended by players including China’s Kuai Man, Denmark’s Anders Lind, Germany’s Sabine Winter and Mak Tin Ian from Macao, China.

WTT Champions Macao 2026 features men’s singles and women’s singles, with 32 male and 32 female players competing. China’s Kuai Man, Chen Xingtong, Wang Yidi, Chen Yi, Zhou Qihao, Chen Yuanyu and Huang Youzheng will engage in a series of exciting matches against a host of world-class players. Mak Tin Ian and Leong On Na from Macao, China will also make their WTT Champions debut.

After the draw, in men’s singles Zhou Qihao, Chen Yuanyu, and Huang Youzheng will face Germany's Dang Qiu, Egypt's Omar Assar, and U.S.A.’s Kanak Jha, respectively, while Mak Tin Ian will take on Japan's Tomokazu Harimoto. In women's singles, Kuai Man and Chen Xingtong will face Germany's Ying Han and Nina Mittelham; Wang Yidi will play Egypt's Dina Meshref; Chen Yi will face Chinese Taipei's Yeh Yi-Tian; and Leong On Na will take on Wales' Anna Hursey.

Tickets for the event continue to be on sale. Members of the public can purchase tickets via the Damai mobile app and mini program, as well as the MacauTicket.com website and mobile app. Each person may buy a maximum of six tickets per transaction. Every spectator who is 1.2 meters or taller must present a valid ticket for admission. Children shorter than 1.2 meters who do not occupy a seat may enter the venue free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult; each adult may bring only one child with free admission. The event organizers call on interested residents and visitors to purchase tickets through authorized channels. Reselling tickets at inflated prices is prohibited.

To further enhance the vibrant tournament atmosphere and enrich the diverse experiences of residents and tourists, the organizers have set up table tennis-themed activities at the “Art Everywhere – Cultural Vibes at the Weekend” at Anim’Arte NAM VAN. The venue features a table tennis interactive experience zone, a themed photo area, and fun interactive games suitable for family participation, extending the table tennis craze from the competition venue into the community. The activities will continue from 11 to 13 September, allowing residents and tourists to experience the unique charm of table tennis and to create a lively and joyful event atmosphere.
