The Civil Aviation Authority will implement an unmanned aircraft ban on the Macao Peninsula between 20:00 to 23:00 (five evenings) on 12, 19, 25 September, 1 and 4 October 2026, to ensure the smooth conduct of the “34th Macao International Fireworks Display Contest".
To ensure the smooth conduct of the “34th Macao International Fireworks Display Contest”, the Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) will implement an unmanned aircraft ban on the Macao Peninsula between 20:00 to 23:00 (five evenings) on 12, 19, 25 September, 1 and 4 October 2026, in accordance with Article 66 of the Air Navigation Regulation of Macau, approved under Dispatch of the Secretary for Transport and Public Works No. 16/2026, except for unmanned aircraft operations authorised by the Civil Aviation Authority under an activity permit granted for performances and filming related to this event.
The AACM reminds groups or individuals who previously obtained an activity permit from the Authority to operate unmanned aircraft on the above date that they must also comply with this no-fly ban. Violations will result in penalties imposed by the Civil Aviation Authority pursuant to Article 59 of Law No. 4/2025 (Civil Aviation Activity Law).
