The 2026 FIA Karting Asia-Pacific Championship, organized by the Sports Bureau, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), and the Automobile General Association Macao-China, concluded today (13 September) at the Coloane Karting Track. John Han (Hong Kong, China) and Signe Pejs Ørnbøll (Denmark) won the junior and senior categories, respectively.
Drivers from 15 countries and regions participated in the 2026 FIA Karting Asia-Pacific Championship, including Macao drivers Lao Si Lun Vernice, Henrique Quintela Borges, Lou Chi Leong, Lou Kin Long, and Tsui Hau Yin. They competed in an “Arrive and Drive” format, in which they used engines, chassis, and tires of the same model and specification. The Asia-Pacific Championship is one of three continental “Arrive and Drive” championships held this year. The top finishers in this event have qualified for the FIA Karting “Arrive and Drive” World Cup, to be held in Malaysia in November.
