New Zealand grants visa-free access to holders of Macao SAR Passport


The Identification Services Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region was informed by the Consulate General of New Zealand in Hong Kong on 27 June 2014 that, with effect from 30 June 2014, the holders of Macao SAR Passport will be exempted from visa requirements when entering New Zealand for a maximum stay of 3 months. The Macao SAR Government has been striving to request visa-free privilege for holders of the Macao SAR Passport when entering New Zealand. The visa exemption arrangement will further deepen the relationship between the two places and strengthen the ease of travellers and therefore to boost in the tourism, and socio-culture between New Zealand and the Macao SAR.
