"In view of the recent mass anti-Chinese demonstrations in several locations in Vietnam, the Consular Protection Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the P.R.C reminds Chinese nationals who intend to travel to Vietnam to remain vigilant, be aware of local security advice and plan travel itineraries carefully. Nationals and Corporations already in Vietnam should raise their alert on security and remain cautious.
In any case of emergency, Chinese nationals should timely report to local police and contact the Consulate and Embassy in Vietnam.

The Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) will keep monitoring the latest development of situation in Vietnam and also reminds Macao residents who are currently in Vietnam or intend to travel to Vietnam to pay close attention to the situation development, avoid demonstrations, be aware of security precautions and ensure personal safety.
According to the Macao tourism industry, there are no Macao tour groups currently in Ho Chi Minh City and there is one Macau tour group with 16 people currently in Da Nang, in safe conditions and being closely monitored by their travel agency.
