Processing procedure and required documents
Documents required to be submitted:
- Declaration – Relationship with the deceased (011/DHA/DHAL);
- A clear photocopy of the identification document of the applicant;
- Declaration of works in cemetery (012/DHA/DHAL) stating the commencement and completion dates of the works;
- A clear photocopy of the identification document of the person in charge of the funeral company.
- Important notes on construction works.
Additional documents to be submitted (those that must be submitted when applicable):
- Marked layout plan or photograph (for permanent tombs and tombs in St. Miguel Arcanjo Cemetery);
- Certificate of use of tomb or other relevant supporting document(s) (for permanent tombs).
Documents required to be produced: The original of the identification document of the applicant is to be produced.

Remarks / Important notes on application
Important notes: Compliance with the stipulations of Articles 15 and 16 of the current Administrative Regulation no. 37/2003 “Regulations on Management, Operation and Supervision of Cemeteries” is required.
Relevant standards or requirements
The persons concerned that apply for license for works in permanent tombs are required to submit a written application, and the works of tombs can only be carried out after the eligibility review is passed.
