How to Apply

Application Procedures and Documents Required

1. Application Approach
   1. The interested person or a legal agent makes the application;
   2. The agent should submit the following:
      1. A certified letter of authorization;
      2. A copy of his/her valid identification document.
2. Documents to be Presented
   1. The copy should be authenticated if the original cannot be exhibited.
3. Documents to be Submitted
   1. A completed Application Form for Statement of Travel to HKSAR (DARP/SP/ M-8) ;
   2. Copy of the interested person’s Macao Resident Identity Card;
   3. Proof of urgent need to go to Hong Kong; (Notes 1 & 2)
   4. Other relevant documents or certificates;
   5. Three 1.5-inch recent colour or black-and-white photos showing full frontal face of the interested person without head coverings taken against plain white background;
   6. Copy of guarantor’s Macao Resident Identity Card;
   7. Other documents as required by the Subdivision.
      [Note 1: For persons seeking urgent medical consultation in Hong Kong, the document refers to the Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário’s referral letter of treatment in Hong Kong and relevant documents; Note 2: For persons visiting terminally ill relative or attending funeral in Hong Kong, the interested person should be the immediate family member of the patient or the deceased person, and provide proof of relationship and relevant documents.]

Remark/Points to Note

1. According to Term 1, Article 66 of Law No. 16/2021, to apply for a visa, Authorization to Enter and Stay, Macao SAR Residence Authorization, Renewal or Extension of Residence Authorization means the interested person consents to have his or her personal information, which includes his or her biodata, handled by the Public Security Police Force.
