UM will host the World Universities Public Speaking Invitational Championship
In celebration of its 45th anniversary, the University of Macau (UM) will host the World Universities Public Speaking Invitational Championship 2026 on 28 and 29 August. The event will bring together outstanding students from 26 leading universities around the world, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, the University of Oxford, Stanford University, and Harvard University. Through English public speaking, the championship aims to promote intercultural exchange and showcase students’ communication skills, critical thinking, and global perspectives. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
