UM kicks off 40th Portuguese Language Summer Programme
The opening ceremony of the Portuguese Language Summer Programme
The 40th Portuguese Language Summer Programme, organised by the Department of Portuguese of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) at the University of Macau (UM), kicked off today (6 July) with an opening ceremony. Around 400 students from Macao, Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, Malaysia, and Canada are enrolled in the programme. Over the next three weeks, participants will attend language and culture courses to improve their Portuguese proficiency and gain a deeper understanding of Portuguese-speaking cultures.
