To implement the “people-centric” governance philosophy of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and carry out the working guideline of “staying close to the community and listening to the public” in the social affairs and cultural sector, the “Teahouse: Conversations on the social affairs and cultural sector” has been held as a regular community exchange event since January 2026. It aims to establish an interactive exchange platform through regular and direct conversations in the community, thereby allowing departments under the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture (hereinafter referred to as SASC) to listen to residents’ opinions on related policies and services directly. By doing so, the SASC can realize the vision of “Blissful Macao” together with the residents by continuously optimizing various tasks and measures.
