The instructor will lead a fun and engaging co-reading of the picture book “The Musical Journey of Xian Xinghai”, guiding children into the inspiring life story of this great Chinese musician and helping them experience his patriotic spirit. The event will play classic excerpts from Xian Xinghai’s The Yellow River Cantata. Through the use of various small musical instruments, children will explore pitch, dynamics and tempo, as well as participate in hands-on playing. They will immerse themselves in the powerful emotions of the music, develop a sense of rhythm and understanding of beats, and enhance their musical sensitivity and concentration through interesting interaction, inspiring their potential and interest in music.
