Produced by Actors’ Family, one of Hong Kong’s leading musical theatre companies, The Starry Night is a heartfelt journey filled with laughter and tears that has received rave reviews during its Greater Bay Area tour, back in 2025. It now comes to Macao to tell us the story of a disillusioned middle-aged man and a devoted craftswoman from Foshan whose paths cross after a blind date goes awry. Following their encounter, a narrative unfolds about family, love, and cultural identity. Unexpectedly, a pair of Shiwan ceramic figurines unveils a long-lost relation between sisters living in different cities, prompting audiences to reflect on the meaning of ‘home’.

Starring popular singer-actor Hubert Wu alongside gifted performers, this production blends Foshan’s artistic tradition with remarkable storytelling and touching melodies. Conceived by a group of top theatre creators, The Starry Night celebrates the warmth of belonging and the bond of culture.

Life’s journey through hardship often leads us to seek a place where the heart finds peace and the soul feels whole.
