Exhibition offers fresh perspective on national security

The National Security Education Exhibition offers fresh perspective on national security.

The upcoming National Security Education Exhibition will incorporate fresh elements relative to previous editions, offering a new perspective for understanding national security and its importance in relation to regional safety and the safety of each individual.

The exhibition is being held at the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao, from 15 April to 15 May inclusive. It is co-organised by the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR.

Four main themes of the exhibition are: “The road to national rejuvenation”, “Staying alert to the challenges ahead”, “Safety and development”, and “Our responsibilities”.

The exhibition features approximately 300 photographs and approximately 20 video clips. There are also scale models of real objects, such as a Chengdu J-20 fighter aircraft, the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, the aircraft carrier Liaoning, and a Fuxing Hao high-speed train.

In addition, the exhibition will include three games offering prizes for visitors. The aim is to enhance engagement in the exhibition among students and young people.

An online registration system and an enquiry hotline have been set up, for the convenience of those wishing either to arrange group visits or to make advance bookings for guided tours. Group registration can be made via a dedicated website (https://eesn.gov.mo). Interested parties may also call (+853) 8800 6262 during office hours in order to make enquiries.

The National Security Education Exhibition will be open to the public immediately after an opening ceremony for it on the morning of 15 April. The full version of the exhibition's dedicated website will be launched at the same time and will highlight the content of the exhibition.
