Guia Hill Cable Car to be temporarily closed from next Tuesday for annual safety check
To ensure the safety of the operation of the Guia Hill Cable Car facility, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will carry out annual maintenance of the cable car from 20 (next Tuesday) to 27 October. The cable car will be temporarily closed during this period. The public are reminded to take note of this arrangement.
The items of the annual safety check and maintenance include the overall facilities, high tower, steel cables, cable car cabins, protective installations, etc., which are carried out to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the facility. IAM appeals to the public for their understanding for the inconvenience caused during the period the Guia Hill Cable Car is closed and reminds the public to pay attention to the on-site signage for safety.
