The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will organise Christmas Market 2026 in Tap Seac Square in Macao from 18 December 2026 to 2 January 2027 for the public to enjoy the joyful and festive atmosphere of Christmas. The market features 24 Christmas gift stalls and snack stalls. The operation license of 22 stalls will be open to tender application. Registration is accepted from 20 October to 3 November.
10 Christmas gift stalls and 14 snack stalls will be set up at Christmas Market this year. Christmas gifts, ornaments, gift boxes, handicraft items, accessories, etc. can be sold in the Christmas gift stalls. Fried and non-fried food, beverages, pre-packaged light meals and pre-cooked food can be sold in the snack stalls. The opening hours on 24, 25 and 31 December are from 2:00 p.m. to midnight, and the market is open on the other days from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. In addition to stalls selling gifts and food, festive merry-go-round, little train, maze and various Christmas decorations will also be installed inside the market. There will also be interactive performances, which are popular among children, so as to increase the appeal of Christmas Market.
To facilitate the diversification of the items sold, IAM has especially invited associations to jointly participate in the operation of 2 stalls. The operation license of the remaining 8 Christmas gift stalls and 14 snacks stalls will be put up for tender, which will take place on 10 November by means of verbal bidding. Successful bidders are required to pay the full amount of the bidding charges on site by cash, electronic payment or cheque.
Interested bidders can visit the Integrated Services Centre or Public Services Centres of IAM from 20 October to 3 November for registration. They have to pay a provisional deposit of MOP5,000 and collect the relevant regulations for tender and operation of stalls and the notification of the explanatory session on the tender. The public can call 8598 6857 or 8598 6854 for enquires. They can also browse the IAM website https://www.iam.gov.mo/for details.
