Self-service application for Certificate of Personal Data is extended to 24 hours

Following the introduction of round-the-clock self-service application for the Certificate of Criminal Record, the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) extends the self-service application for the Certificate of Personal Data to 24 hours and expands the 24-hour service spot to the Government Services Centre in Areia Preta in response to the development of society and the need of Macao residents.


5,043 cases received by Consumer Council in 2018

The Consumer Council received 2,290 complaints and 2,753 inquiries in 2018, totaling 5,043 cases, 1,299 cases were lodged by tourists.



Consumer Council released latest ‘Supermarket price survey’ Various functions available on website and app

Consumer Council conducted its ‘Supermarket price survey’ on 10 January for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included supermarkets near Iao Hon Market and the Border Gate area (Portas do Cerco ) in N. Sra. de Fátima Parish. Consumers may now check the report data on the Council’s website (www.consumer.gov.mo) or the “Supermarket Price Information Platform” app.


Mortgage loans statistics – November 2018

According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) rose while those of commercial real estate loans (CRELs) decreased in November 2018. With regard to the outstanding balance, both RMLs and CRELs witnessed monthly increases.


Secretary stresses lawful nature of Canidrome fine

The Secretary for Administration and Justice, Ms Chan Hoi Fan, today said a fine against the Macao (Yut Yuen) Canidrome Co. Ltd was imposed according to law and based on the circumstances relating to violation of a particular law.

New graffiti display at Anim’Arte NAM VAN co-designed by a local and a Uruguayan artist

Anim’Arte NAM VAN, jointly developed by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Sports Bureau and the Institute for Tourism Studies, under the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of Macao SAR Government, has now become the city’s new landmark of leisure and entertainment. The graffiti display area at Anim’Arte NAM VAN has recently changed its appearance, showing a new graffiti mural themed “maritime adventure” open to the public.
