Tap Siac Craft Market Thematic Talk—The Dream of Zeng Dejun, the “Father of Tube Radio”

To enrich local creative practitioners’ experience in creation and marketing, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has invited Zeng Dejun, dubbed the “Father of Tube Radio” in Mainland China, to give a talk during the course of the Tap Siac Craft Market. The talk is entitled “Originality of a Radio Lover—Zeng Dejun’s Dream of Radio”, and will be held at the Macao Museum’s Auditorium on 17 November 2018, from 3pm to 5pm, being open to the public’s participation.


Macao Public Library launches the 16th issue of Books and the City

The Macao Public Library of the Cultural Affairs Bureau launches the 16th issue of Books and the City, which is already available to the public. This issue introduces to readers Macao’s largest library with ancient books in western languages – the IACM Building Library – exploring the interesting stories behind the collection of valuable ancient books.


Macao Orchestra presents an evening of “Charming Serenade”

The Macao Orchestra (OM, from the Portuguese acronym), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, presents the concert “Charming Serenade”, the first chamber music concert of this concert season, on 9 November (Friday), at 8pm, at the Dom Pedro V Theatre, featuring classic serenades composed in different eras, and leading music aficionados to enjoy the beauty of this music genre. Tickets are now available for sale at the Macau Ticketing Network.



“Style‧Encounter Moment” Fashion Parade showcases local fashion designers’ works at Macao Fashion Festival

Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macao (IC) and co-organized by the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM), “StyleEncounter Moment” – The 5th Fashion Parade of Subsidy Programme for Fashion Design on Sample Making, will be held on Saturday, 20 October, at 2:30pm, at the MacaoFashion Festival (MFF) 2018,in the Florence ballroom of The Venetian Macao. Admission is free and the public is invited to enjoy local fashion designs and understand the development of local fashion industry.
