Consumer Council conducts price survey on selling prices of fresh pork and vegetables from Zhuhai, HK, and Macao
For the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June, Consumer Council collects prices of fresh pork from wet markets and supermarkets for consumers’ reference on 12 December. The mentioned data collected during 6 December to 12 December are used for comparing the average selling price of the same products from Zhuhai and Hong Kong. The relevant data has been uploaded to the Council’s website for consumers’ reference.

Consumer Report issue no. 291 features test report on quality of sports towels
The Consumer Council conducted a test on the quality of sports towel, colours of certain samples tend to fade away after testing of colour fastness to pool water. The detailed report can be found in issues 291 Consumer Report; the latest issue also includes a feature of Consumers Association of Singapore’s visit to the Council.

Mortgage loans statistics – October 2017
According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) decreased slightly from the previous month whereas those of commercial real estate loans (CRELs) rose in October 2017.
