Ticket refunds for programmes of the 2nd Macao International Children’s Arts Festival due to the adverse weather conditions registered on 19 and 20 July

Due to adverse weather conditions, some programmes of the 2nd Macao International Children’s Arts Festival, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), originally scheduled for 19 and 20 July, were cancelled, including the performances of the Theatre for Babies “Bebeethoven” on 19 July, at 5pm, and on 20 July at 11am, 2:30pm and 5pm, respectively; the performances of the Disney The Magic Box musical on 20 July at 3pm and 7:30pm; the screenings of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Into the Wonderwoods on 20 July. Ticket refunds of the abovementioned programmes will be processed according to the original purchase methods.


Seize the Summer! Macau New Neighbourhood to Host Summer Family Carnival Next Saturday

Coinciding with the summer holidays, the Hengqin “Macau New Neighbourhood” (MNN) will hold the “Neighbourhood Fun Fair: Seize the Summer” Family Carnival at MNN Lotus Square from 12:00 to 18:00 on 2 August (Saturday). The event will feature summer-themed games, interactive experiences, and markets, offering over 800 gifts and prizes. We warmly invite the general public to visit the MNN in person and enjoy the summer break.


Dialysis Center of Macao Union Medical Center officially commences services

The Dialysis Center of the Islands Healthcare Complex – Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (hereinafter referred to as “Macao Union Medical Center”) has officially launched its dialysis services recently. In the initial phase, it provides maintenance hemodialysis for Macao residents referred by the Health Bureau.



Consumer Price Index (CPI) for June 2025

Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the Composite CPI for June 2025 rose by 0.25% year-on-year and 0.04% month-on-month. For the 12 months ended June this year, the average Composite CPI grew by 0.34% from the previous period (July 2023 – June 2024).


Visitor arrivals for the first half of 2025

Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that there were 19,218,540 visitor arrivals in the first half of 2025, up by 14.9% year-on-year. Same-day visitors (11,182,913) and overnight visitors (8,035,627) rose by 25.8% and 2.6% year-on-year respectively. Meanwhile, the cumulative average length of stay of visitors decreased by 0.1 day year-on-year to 1.1 days, due to the growth in the proportion of same-day visitors in the total number of visitors. The average duration of stay for same-day visitors (0.2 day) and overnight visitors (2.3 days) both remained unchanged year-on-year.


Residential colleges of UM and University of Malaya sign MOU

Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC) of the University of Macau (UM) and Kolej Kediaman Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah (KK12), the largest residential college of the University of Malaya, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The signing of the MOU marked an important milestone in student affairs collaboration between the two universities and will foster student and faculty exchanges.




UTM held Yiu Tung Building Naming Ceremony in Taipa Campus

The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) held a grand naming ceremony for the Yiu Tung Building on 23 July 2025.
