Macao Orchestra presents “Easter Concert” on 15 and 16 April at St. Dominic’s Church
The Macao Orchestra (OM), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, presents the “Easter Concert”, part of the Orchestra’s Maestros with Charismaseries on two consecutive nights, 15 and 16 April (Saturday and Sunday) at 8pm at St. Dominic’s Church. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Principal Conductor of the Orchestra, Lü Jia, will not perform as planned, and therefore the concert will be led by local conductor Lio Kuokman. Four outstanding Korean singers will also present solo pieces, celebrating the Easter with the Macao Orchestra together. In addition, the original programme of the concert will be changed. Admission is free.

Registration for more than thirty handicraft workshops at the “Tap Siac Craft Market” is open
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and co-organised by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM), the “Tap Siac Craft Market” will be held from 21to 23 April and from 28 to 30 April(every Friday to Sunday for two consecutive weeks), featuring more than thirty handicrafts workshops. The fee for each handicrafts workshop is MOP50. All interested parties can register for the workshops from today through “Activity Registration System” on IC’s website.

Opening of “Bazaar at the Mandarin’s House” was well-received
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and co-organised by the Macau Cultural Resources Association, the “Bazaar at the Mandarin’s House”, was held on 8 and 9 April (Saturday and Sunday), from 12pm to 6pm, at the Mandarin’s House, a world heritage site. The opening ceremony was held on 8 April (Saturday), at 2:50pm, and was officiated by the Vice President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Kent Ieong Chi Kin; the President of the Macau Cultural Resources Association, Cheng Xiang Hu; the Executive Director of the Institute of Chinese Classical Dance Han Tang, Lewis Lei; the Chairman of the Macau Hong Wai Sports and Recreations Association, Mak Chi Leong; and the Orchestra Conductor of the Music Technical Class of Macau Baptist College, Cheong Wai Leong. The bazaar was well-received and participants enjoyed in the activities.
